Central location, easy base for discovering Near Sawrey. Its proximity to a ferry port. A wide array of appetising food for meals.

Staff is hospitable and you can park your car on-site.

Lovely family run hotel.

Location - good adjacent to Wray Castle, Hawkeshead and Moss Eccles Tarn, the restaurant and Ambleside, Grasmere, Hawkshead and Windermere. Outstandingly accommodating staff, spotless and fashionable rooms with bedroom, excellent views, for example.  

Great choice for weekend. Wonderful hotel, pleasant staff and well presented food. Impeccably clean and bright rooms with tea/coffee making equipment and a lounge area. Cereal and fruit in the mornning in garden.  

The room was immaculate and had a nice view of Esthwaite Water.

The place was fairly clean with free parking and an extremely comfy bed. The staff were amiable and excellent day and night. We stayed in a large room that had a storage space and a lounge area. The breakfast 

The breakfast offerings in the dining room were splendid, with a variety of tea, toast, cereal, yogurt.

The units are lovely and romantic, with excellent views. The staff were very attentive. The location is incredibly central, very close to major attractions, in addition to being near a Michelin-starred restaurant. 

The staff here was super helpful and really friendly, just as we hoped. We especially loved our queen room with a view. 😊

Decent, convenient location in Near Sawrey, next to an excellent pub right nearby, beautiful surroundings, and Hawkshead, Coniston and Windermere and other local attractions. Compact room, comfortable beds and super bathroom.  

This place has a great location in a beautiful area, the room was nicely furnished and breakfast was excellent.

Perfect spot for a belated wedding anniversary getaway, the hotel is in a beautiful and well-kept building in a lovely location. 🌿

This place is in a quiet location close to Grizedale Forest, and it has a relaxing on-site bar as well as spacious rooms.
